Delete your account and data

Submit a deletion request

1. Email honney@xcape.in from the email address connected to your app invitation or account.
2. State the app city (Bengaluru or Hyderabad), the relevant event, and: “Delete my account and associated personal data.”
3. We will verify that you control the account. Do not send your one-time password or QR credential.
4. After verification, we will process the request and confirm completion, normally within 30 days unless applicable law allows or requires a different period.

Request account deletion

What will be deleted

Subject to verification and lawful exceptions, deletion covers your authentication account and identifiable app data associated with it, including:

• account, invitation, event membership, and profile information;
• optional profile photo, phone number, and contact-sharing preferences;
• connections, chats, feed content, comments, reactions, bookmarks, feedback, and support conversations;
• identifiable QR, attendance, session, booth, passport, points, and notification records; and
• push tokens and identifiable app-activity records linked to your account.

Content you shared with others may take time to disappear from cached devices. We will delete or anonymise the server copy covered by your request.

Information that may be retained

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or protection of other users. This can include restricted audit evidence or a record that a deletion request was completed. Aggregated or irreversibly anonymised information may also be retained because it no longer identifies you.

Delete local app data

After your request is completed, sign out and uninstall the app or clear its storage in device settings to remove remaining caches and unsynchronised data from your device. If you have pending event actions that you want processed before deletion, allow them to synchronise first.
